Description
2000 Kurt Warner Game Worn, Signed St. Louis Rams Helmet. A future Hall of Famer, who basically came out of nowhere - Kurt Warner was stuck behind Packers quarterbacks Brett Favre, Mark Brunell and Ty Detmer on the team's practice squad in 1994, which left him no choice but to join the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League. With one last detour to play in Amsterdam, Warner finally found himself right where he belonged in 1998 - with the St. Louis Rams. With several historic stints as the ring leader of "The Greatest Show on Turf," and a Super Bowl championship in 2000, Warner gradually solidified himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history. Presented here is his Rams helmet from 2000. Accompanied with a signed letter of authenticity from Warner, himself, the fabulous Riddell shell exhibits moderate nicks and burns from battle on the gridiron. The mask dates to 1999, the clips to 2000, and there is a 2001 reconditioning sticker in the interior. In addition "Kurt Warner 13" is noted on blue Dymotape in the inside, along with its original padding. The only Warner game-worn helmet we've handled, it is signed and inscribed in bold gold ink.
