1978 Jack Youngblood Game Worn Los Angeles Rams Pro Bowl Helmet from The Jack Youngblood Collection. This is an interesting helmet that originates from the collection of Hall of Fame defensive lineman Jack Youngblood. Worn during the 1978 Pro Bowl, which was determined by the striping and style of the exterior paint, it also displays a timeclock from June 1973, which leads us to believe that the Rams shell was also used during the early part of his storied career. Exhibiting terrific interior wear throughout, it is highlighted by blue Dymotape in the inside that reads "85 Youngblood Game." Original facemask has come detached from the shell, while its original wafer padding remains intact. Letter of provenance from Jack Youngblood.Auction Info
