1974 Jake Scott Game Worn & Signed Pro Bowl Helmet from The Jake Scott Collection. We are able to date this helmet to the 1974 Pro Bowl because it was the only time during Jake Scott's five Pro Bowls when there was no center stripe painted. Heritage has sold two other gamers from the 1974 exhibition (Paul Krause and Roman Gabriel) and neither has a stripe down the center. The offered headgear was worn by Scott during the regular season in 1973 and subsequently painted red and "A" (American Football Conference) decals were added on the sides. "13" is written inside for identification. A few contact marks have found their way onto the shell. Scott signed the side in silver paint pen. No facemask present. Letter of provenance from Jake Scott's family. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
