1968 New York Jets Super Bowl Champion Team Signed Helmet. The Super Bowl Champs from one of the much-hyped Super Bowl III that took place in early January 1969 on the heels of Joe Namath's brash prediction that his underdog Jets would win. The 1968 New York Jets did indeed score the first Super Bowl point for an AFL team, beating the Colts 16-7. Here we present a Riddell full size throwback Jets helmet, signed by several members of the '68 championship team. Included are autographs from all of the expected stars, including Namath, Don Maynard, Pete Lammons, Emerson Boozer, George Sauer, Bill Mathis, Bake Turner and many more.
