    Description

Early 1970's Nick Buoniconti Game Worn, Signed Miami Dolphins Helmet. One of the greatest leaders on the Miami Dolphins historic 1972 undefeated championship squad, Nick Buoniconti was an AFL All Star on both the Boston Patriots and Miami Dolphins, during his Hall of Fame career. One of few players who tallied 20 sacks and 20 interceptions a career, the Notre Dame alum wore this absolutely battered Rawlings shell during the early 1970's with the Miami Dolphins. Presenting its original full cage facemask on the front, it has his No. 85 in original decals on the back. The top clips are broken, and the side clips are reproductions, while its original padding remains intact with one missing jaw pad. The right side is signed by the famed linebacker in Mint black sharpie, completing this intimidating gridiron artifact. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
