Circa 1970 Perry Williams Game Worn Green Bay Packers Durene Jersey & Pants. Admit it, you saw the durene and #31 and your heart skipped a beat. Ours did. Issued to running back Perry Williams in 1970 is this classic green "Sand Knit [size] 46" durene jersey and matching pants. There are no remnants of where the NFL 50 patch stood on the shoulders, thus the attribution to the following year. The suspended "[size] 46" flag tag is revealed in the collar, like so many of those '60's jerseys. Period Sand Knit labels (Packers exclusivity and size) are found in the tail. The Sand Knit labels were not used during Taylor's Packers career, thus relegating the jersey to Williams. Great wear is shown with four team repairs. Completing the ensemble are Packers game-worn pants. At least four numbers are blackened out inside, including "31." Three tags appear inside: "Sand Knit," "Ex. Long" and washing instructions. "38XL" is written in vintage black marker. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
