Circa 1968-69 New York Jets Game Worn "Husky" Helmet. One of the most desirable shells of them all, and from a magical period of the American Football League, this Jets helmet was worn by an unknown player around 1968-69. Riddell RK2 "Husky" model features extremely rare one-year style lineman's squared off mask, 12-point suspension padding, jaw pads, cream snubber (which suggests 1970-71 use), and decals and striping with Riddell stamping, all of original vintage. Clips are replacements, which is typical. Light wear and no player identification remains. Helmet originates from former Jets defensive tackle Paul Rochester. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
