Circa 1960-61 Roy Wilkins Game Worn Washington Redskins Jersey. A sixth round draft pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 1957, Roy Wilkins went on to play linebacker for the Washington Redskins in 1960. Presented here is an extremely scarce maroon Durene gamer that was used by the Georgia alum during his tenure in our nation's capital. Exhibiting solid wear throughout, the jersey has the proper white tackle twill numerals sewn on the front, back and sleeves. The proper "Sand Knit [size] 52" tag is in the tail, and it displays superbly. Letter of provenance from the family of Washington Redskins assistant trainer/equipment manager Fred Baxter. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
