Circa 1957 Jim Ringo Game Worn Green Bay Packers Jersey - Extremely Scarce Style! While few Packers enthusiasts remember their faithful team wearing black Durene jerseys in the 1950's, it has been proven that they did after a recently discovered batch of original color negatives from the Topps Archives. Please note that the images aren't included in this lot, but we show several photos here of Packers players at the team's training facility around the 1957 season in black jerseys with gold identifiers.

Offered here is Hall of Fame center Jim Ringo's jersey that features the rare style, and it sports an intriguing "Denis Sport Shop Green Bay, Wis" and "Sand Knit [size] 46" tag in the tail. Displaying a nice scattering of team repairs, it has rare canvas twill numerals on the front, back and sleeves, which all match the images in this listing. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
