Description

2002 Adam Vinatieri Game Used & Signed Football - 1st Game at Gillette Stadium! On September 9, 2002, Adam Vinatieri played a pivotal role in the New England Patriots' inaugural game at Gillette Stadium, a 30-14 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Known for his precision, Vinatieri kicked three field goals, showcasing the consistency that defined his legendary career. The game marked the beginning of Gillette Stadium's storied association with Patriots' football excellence. Here we present a K ball from that historic contest, and it is signed and inscribed by Vinatieri in bold black sharpie. The game also features the Pats' Super Bowl XXXVI banner raising. Referee markings and game wear is exhibited on this tremendous pigskin (ball is partially deflated). Letter of provenance from Adam Vinatieri. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
