    Description

1965 Chicago Bears Team Signed Football with Piccolo. The greatest "tearjerker" in sports film history may well be the 1971 flick "Brian's Song," which remembers the special friendship between Chicago Bears backs Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo, the latter of which is stricken by a fatal disease. Each of these Windy City heroes is present here, along with fellow legends Halas, Butkus, Atkins, Fortunato and Arnett to name a few. Signature quality is a very consistent and entirely legible 6/10 to 7/10 on this lightly handled "Wilson" football with stamped "Chicago Bears 1965" identifier. Forty-five signatures total. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
