    Description

1963 University of Texas Longhorns Team Signed Football - National Championship Season! A 28-6 victory at the Cotton Bowl over future Dallas sporting icon Roger Staubach and his Navy squad completed the Longhorns' undefeated season and earned the school its first NCAA Football Championship. Presented is a stunning tan leather football that has been autographed by more than 60 members of that historic Texas team, most notably coach Darrell Royal, eventual Pro Football Hall of Fame Tommy Nobis, and All-Americans Scott Appleton and Tommy Ford. Signature quality averages 5/10, with some rating as high as 7/10. The ball exhibits only moderate wear and presents marvelously, with "National Champions 1963 University of Texas" boldly printed on one panel. A rare opportunity to "hook" a special keepsake representing the beginning of a great Texas football tradition of excellence. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
