Description

1963 NFL Pro Bowl Multi-Signed Football. A crowd of more than 60,000 packed Los Angeles' Memorial Coliseum on January 13, 1963 to witness the best in the National Football League face off for geographical domination. It was the East who would claim the day, providing nice round figures on the scoreboard of thirty to twenty at the closing gun. Approximately seventy participants in that exhibition check in upon this "Rawlings" pigskin, with notables including the defeated Coach Lombardi, Unitas, Starr, Olsen, Mason, Lary, Willie Wood, Gregg, Bass, Kramer, Lane, Marchetti and Tittle. Most of the West made use of a black ink pen to sign, with those signatures remaining wonderfully bold at an average of 9+/10. The East is primarily red ink, which does not contrast as well and necessitates a 7/10 average rating. Still a marvelous and impressively comprehensive collection, featuring many of the greatest figures of the era. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
