1962 Green Bay Packers Team Signed Football. A second consecutive NFL Championship for Vince Lombardi's mighty Packers squad, perhaps the most noteworthy and talent-packed squad ever to take to the gridiron. Documenting this immortal team is a Rawlings "Vince Lombardi" model ball, signed by the Hall of Fame coach himself and thirty-nine fellow Champs, notably Starr, Taylor, Jordan, Gregg, Kramer and more. The black ink signatures remain quite strong after four decades of life, but the dimpled brown leather serves as an imperfect medium and the contrast makes legibility possible but less than ideal. Still an amazing artifact, and many times more rare than team signed baseballs from the same era. Included is a photocopy of a 1971 letter of provenance from the Packers Assistant to the General Manager attesting to the authenticity of the ball, which he references by exact model and style.LOA from PSA/DNA.
