1938 Green Bay Packers Team Signed Football - Sourced from Trainer Dave Woodward! Despite the Packers' 23-17 loss to the New York Giants in the 1938 NFL Championship Game, Curly Lambeau's '38 squad is still remembered as one of the most talented in Green Bay history. Here we present an ultra-scarce pigskin that is signed by the 1938 Titletown squad, and it originates from the collection of the team's legendary trainer Dave Woodward. Accompanied by a rare original 8x10" image of Woodward, and his Packers business card, the football includes the following bold black signatures: Curly Lambeau, Bud Jorgensen, Red Smith, Dave Woodward, Baby Ray, Joe Laws, Milt Gantenbein, Pete Tinsley, Clarke Hinkle, Arnie Herber, Don Hutson, Cecil Isbell, Hank Bruder and others. Ball exhibits medium wear, with mild cracking throughout. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
