1930 Notre Dame Game Used Football from Army Game - Rockne's Final Season and National Championship Year! A truly historic offering that will surely turn the heads of even the most discerning Notre Dame collectors, here we offer an exceedingly rare team-signed game ball from legendary head coach Knute Rockne's final season before his untimely passing. The Fighting Irish finished 10-0 during its magnificent 1930 National Championship year and this is a game ball attributed to the team's 7-6 victory over Army at Chicago's Soldier Field on November 29, 1930.

Featuring writing in an unknown hand reading "Notre Dame Army 7-6 National Champs," it exhibits considerable wear and a dark caramel patina on the attractive leather. In addition, the interior bladder has completely shattered, but it still holds a nice shape, which will make aid to an eye appealing display in a museum or memorabilia room. One would expect a piece of this caliber to reside in the confines of South Bend's College Football Hall of Fame, but thankfully for the lucky winning bidder, this piece can now act as the centerpiece of an impressive collection. Letter of provenance from the Lauerman family.
