1996 Jerry Rice Pre-Season Game Worn & Unwashed San Francisco 49ers Jersey with Golden Anniversary Patch - Worn 8/10 vs. the Chargers. Tailored to the exacting specifications of Jerry Rice, this white mesh jersey displays v-neck collar, snug-fitting ribbed-cuffed sleeves, stretchy white side panels, and customized tail, with triple sewn-on tackle twill identifiers in wine red, gold, and black. The Niners' oval logo has been screened on both sleeves and the team's Golden Anniversary patch sits prominently on the upper left chest with "50 SF 1946-1996" in gold, red, and white embroidery. Tagging includes a "Reebok 48" label and "Blitz" flap tag inside the collar, with a "Pro Line 1996" label in the tail.During that 1996 season, Flash 80 posted a league leading and career high 108 grabs to go along with 1,254 receiving yards, all of which which helped the Niners go 12-4.
This exemplar dates from the 8/10 pre-season contest versus the Chargers. Exhibits light wear including discoloration on the right sleeve. Also, as with many other Rice gamers from this era, this specimen also bears a strip of athletic tape, with a vintage "Pre vs. San Diego" blue ballpoint inscription, affixed to the nameplate by the team after the game.
