    Description

1978 USC Trojans National Championship Ring.
While fielding an impressive roster of eventual NFLers, such as Marcus Allen, Ronnie Lott, Charles White, Anthony Munoz and more, the 1978 USC Trojans football team tallied an impressive 12-1 record, and defeated powerhouse Alabama during that memorable season. While finishing No. 2 in the AP poll, the coaches' poll saw it differently, by giving the Trojans the slight nod as the No. 1 team in the country. Offered here a ring that was presented to "Mercado", who we assume was a USC staffer or team VIP. Showcasing "USC" on the top in genuine diamonds, it is properly marked "Jostens 10k" in the interior band, and measures to a size 9.5. Ring weighs 32 grams.
