1975 Jake Scott Game Worn & Signed Pro Bowl Helmet from The Jake Scott Collection. Jake Scott provided a layer of security when he starred for the Miami Dolphins in the 1970's. His borderline Hall of Fame career included five Pro Bowl appearances. Although Scott was known for his ball hawking skills on defense, he also aided in special teams. The hard-nosed punt returner was known for never signaling for a fair catch either. According to the date wheel on the inside of this helmet, it was manufactured in January of 1975 and would have been worn by Scott during the season which included his final Pro Bowl appearance. Following the season, Scott's Dolphins gamer was painted red and shipped to Honolulu for the season ending game. The "A" decals show hit marks and scrapes from contact. A navy blue stripe runs from the front to back. "13" is written on the inside in black marker. Suspension padding, including thin leather jaw pads, are present.
