1968 Joe Namath Presentational Wristwatch. Special keepsake from the season that culminated in Broadway Joe's fulfilled brash promise of a Super Bowl III victory comes to us from a former business associate of the Hall of Fame quarterback. The well-deserved award is neatly engraved on verso, "Joe Namath, Outstanding Offensive Player, Jets Huddle '68" and appears to have been a cherished and well utilized possession of the Jets legend. The "Lucien Piccard" watch features an attractive eighteen karat gold case and a black face with gold hands. The original leather band is worn but fully intact and functional. The watch does not appear to be functional at present, but this should be little problem to remedy. Of course it goes without saying that a Namath award dating to 1968 is like a 1927 Babe Ruth or a 1961 Roger Maris, and carries exceptional collecting appeal.
