    Description

1968 Dick Shiner Game Worn Pittsburgh Steelers "Batman" Style Jersey. After spending the 1967 season on the bench in Cleveland, quarterback Dick Shiner got his big break, when in 1968 he was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he became a starter in Week 4.

Presented here is Shiner's rare "Batman" style Durene jersey that was worn during his first season in Pittsburgh. Originally obtained straight from the Steelers organization, it displays black tackle twill numerals on the front, back and sleeves, while a "Honus Wagner Co. Sand Knit size 44" tag is in the tail. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
