    Description

1967 Super Bowl I Packers vs. Chiefs Press Tie Clip & Cuff Links. The member of the press who was presented this stunning set could have never imagined how huge the Super Bowl would eventually become as an influential force in American pop culture. The annual event's television viewership is amazing, the commercials are intriguing, and the effect that winning can immediately propel a player's career into elite status. Offered here is an original "Balfour" tie clip and cuff links from the premier Super Bowl, which was played between the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs, in front of more than 60,000 fans at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Each piece is marked "10 karat gold fill." Some surface chipping is found on the inside of the cuff links and the tie clip is missing the clasp.
