1964 "Grand Award of Sports" Presented to Jim Brown. The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) presented this impressive trophy to the Cleveland Browns' superstar running back the season he led the team to its only NFL Championship to date. The bronze bust in the popular "brutalist" mid-century style rests upon an angular wooden base to which a brass plaque is applied, reading "Grand Award of Sports 1964, Professional Football, Jim Brown." Widely considered to be the greatest football player of all time, Brown is an essential component of any quality football memorabilia collection. This scarce personally-owned artifact dating to Brown's most glorious season will stand out in even the finest of private football museums. Height 14.5".
