1959 Vince Lombardi First Game Packers vs. Bears Ticket Stub, PSA Authentic - Pop 1/4. Following a brief team meeting in 1959, when the Packers' new head coach Vince Lombardi introduced himself to the players, quarterback Bart Starr immediately called his wife and told her that they would start winning. Starr was right on the money with that phone call, as Lombardi's Packers went on to win five NFL Championships and two Super Bowls. Offered here is a ticket stub from Lombardi's first game, which took place on September 27, 1959, as his Packers defeated the Chicago Bears in a 9-6 thriller. Ticket has been graded "Authentic" by PSA, while it remains very clean with only minor creasing. One of only four examples graded by PSA, it is easily one of the most historic ticket stubs offered in our May auction.
