    Description

1928 Knute Rockne & Christy Walsh Signed Cut Document. The celebrated coach of the Notre Dame football team was flying to a production of the film The Spirit of Notre Dame on March 31, 1931 when the wing of the Fokker Trimotor aircraft separated in flight, sending the plane spiraling into a Kansas wheat field. This early, tragic death is still felt today in the collecting world, where the demand for signatures from college football's most famous pre-war coach far exceeds the available supply. Here we find a spectacular example clipped from some form of business agreement between Rockne and his agent Christy Walsh, who also signs in 10/10 ink. The clipping measures 2.5x8", with mild creasing which does not intersect the signatures. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
