1976 Topps Football Unopened Cello Pack PSA Mint 9 - with Walter Payton Rookie on Top! The Chicago Bears have been billed as the "Monsters of the Midway," featuring a fearsome defense that struck fear in opponents. Ironically, one of the greatest players ever to represent the Bears would be a running back from Jackson State University who would be known as "Sweetness." Payton's running style was not sweet, a powerful back Walter worked tirelessly to become was one of the greatest football players ever and an even greater human being.
