    Description

1935 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski #34 BVG VG 3. NOTE: There is a pencil mark on the front that looks like a check mark. It is more pronounce on our online image than on the card.

While the 1935 National Chicle football issue utilizes outstanding artwork as its main selling point, the player roster comes in a close second. Far and away the most valuable name in the set is HoFer Bronko Nagurski. Card #34 outpaces his closest competitor by multiples when it comes to value, desirability and as a high number, scarcity. The most famous football player in the game at the time of the set's issue, Nagurski first burst onto the national scene as a fullback and defensive tackle with the University of Minnesota and later starred with the Chicago Bears. Graded BVG VG 3 for corner wear and centering. One of ten examples graded by BVG. The only example for the grade, with two graded higher from a total BVG population of ten.
