HoFer Roger Staubach had an inauspicious start to his professional career but his route to fame was unlike the majority of his peers in that he served in the US Navy for four years after his Heisman career. Debuting as a twenty-seven year old rookie, Staubach made six Pro Bowls, won two Super Bowl Championships including an MVP Award. He will always be remembered for his effective scrambling, his comeback wins and his unparalleled leadership. In his first full season in the NFL the Hall of Fame quarterback Roger Staubach won Player of the Year, Super Bowl MVP, and picked up the passing title, achieving hero status with the Dallas Cowboys. Offered is a card from the 1999 UD Century Legends that features a beautiful signature of this Cowboy great. Card is in NM-MT condition. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
