Description

1984 Topps USFL Reggie White #58 PSA Gem Mint 10. Before entering the National Football League, Reggie White was tormenting opposing quarterbacks in college at Tennessee and later in the USFL with the Memphis Showboats. As a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, during the 1987 strike-shortened season, The Minister of Defense tallied an unbelievable 21 sacks in only 12 games (1.75 sacks per game). But it was in 1993, when Reggie White made his decision to join the Green Bay Packers as a free agent, when he made his biggest impact in professional football. Not only did White continue to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks with ease, he was also instrumental in bringing additional key players to northern Wisconsin. From his USFL days, we offer this seemingly perfect example of his treasured rookie card appearance from the 1984 USFL series. Graded PSA Gem MT 10, one of only four at the Gem MT level from almost 1,000 PSA submissions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
