Description

1965 Topps Joe Namath #122 PSA NM 7. "I got a little hot. All week I read about how great the Colts were and how we didn't belong on the same field with them. I was tired of it. I said, 'Wait a minute, pal, I've got news for you. We're going to win this game. I guarantee it!'." Broadway Joe and his underdog Jets did just that, defeating the heavily-favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III played at the Orange Bowl in Miami on January 12, 1969. His rookie card, a part of the "tall boy" 1965 Topps football issue, is larger than the norm; not unlike Namath's legacy. Our offered card has great colors, problem-free surfaces and quality corners. No football collector can honestly say this card is not among the top 10 football cards of all-time. Graded PSA NM 7.
