1962 Topps Football Bucks Mike Ditka Printing Plate (Rookie Season). "Football Bucks" was a secondary edition which came placed within Topps wax packs of standard cards in 1962. That a youngster named Mike Ditka would make his debut with the Chicago Bears. Who could have guessed the impact Ditka would have not only as an outstanding player but as the coach of the 1985 Super Bowl Champion team. A team many consider the best teams ever. The "bucks" were a one color format so this is the only ink plate needed to produce the final card. The metal plate is in close to Mint with no scratches, dents or other damage. A rare production piece, quite possibly unique.
