Description

1961 Fleer Jim Brown #11 PSA Mint 9. The Sporting News honored him with Rookie of the Year honors. Forty-five years later they declared him the greatest professional football player ever. The sixth overall pick for the 1957 draft might not have been the most elusive rusher who ever suited up in the NFL, but he was famous for being the toughest to bring to a halt. His bone-rattling style earned him the NFL rushing title all but one of his nine seasons in the League, and his 1,863 rushing yards in 1963 remains a Cleveland Browns franchise record. He averaged an outrageous 5.2 yards per carry and his 1957 debut saw him leading all NFL running backs with 942 rushing yards. Our offered card first emerged from packs right in the middle of Brown's Hall of Fame career. Graded PSA Mint 9. One of just thirty-two examples graded MINT with only two higher!
