Signed 1959 Topps Sam Huff #51 PSA VG-EX 4, PSA/DNA Auto 10. Sam Huff was a legendary American football player who revolutionized the linebacker position and became one of the most recognizable figures in NFL history. As a rookie, Huff made an immediate impact, helping the Giants win the 1956 NFL Championship. Under the guidance of defensive coordinator Tom Landry, Huff became the centerpiece of the Giants' innovative 4-3 defensive scheme, which emphasized the role of the middle linebacker as a dominant, playmaking force. His aggressive style and ability to read plays made him a nightmare for opposing offenses. Offered is a 1959 Topps football card signed by the HoFer in brilliant blue ink.
