Description

1959 Topps Lenny Moore #100 PSA Mint 9. Lenny Moore was a fleet-footed halfback for the Baltimore Colts from 1956 to '67. With his speed and size (6' 1" and 191 pounds), Moore could either elude or simply run over opposing tacklers. During his 12 years with the Colts, he amassed 5,174 rushing yards and scored 63 touchdowns. As a flanker, he was just as productive: 6,039 receiving yards and 48 touchdown catches. A seven-time Pro Bowl selection, he was a member of two Colts NFL Championship teams (1958 and '59), was named NFL MVP in 1964, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1975. Offered is a 1959 Topps card that captures an up-close photo of the hard-pounding running back taking a knee. Card #100 from the '59 Topps series is found in outstanding condition with vivid color, good centering, milky white borders, and four sharp corners. Graded PSA Mint 9. Of the 462 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only 21 cards graded MINT with none rated higher.
