1958 Topps Jim Brown Rookie #62 PSA NM-MT 8. Jim Brown, an iconic NFL figure, excelled remarkably during his rookie season in 1957 after being drafted by the Cleveland Browns. He rushed for 942 yards and scored 9 touchdowns, instantly setting new standards for running backs and earning the NFL Rookie of the Year award. Over his nine-year career, all with the Browns, Brown led the league in rushing yards eight times and was thrice named MVP. With 12,312 rushing yards and 106 touchdowns at his retirement.
