    Description

1981 - 1985 Fleer "In Action" Football Sets Collection (8). As an alternative to Topps cards in the 1970's and 1980's, Fleer produced several sets of football cards entitled "In Action," featuring game action photography and not mentioning specific players. By doing this they were able to still produce cards of top players. Walter Payton, Joe Montana, Tony Dorsett, Roger Staubach and others are all found in these sets. Includes: 1981 Fleer In Action Complete Sets (2 Sets) and 1982 Fleer In Action Complete Sets (2 Sets). 1983 Fleer In Action Complete Sets (2 Sets), 1984 Fleer In Action Complete Set, 1985 Fleer In Action Complete Set. Cards grade mostly EX-MT to NM, almost all below the "EX" level are due to centering issues. Note: Some of the top and bottom cards from the sets have marks indicating they were kept together by rubber bands.
