1935 National Chicle Complete Set (36) - #5 "Current Finest" on the PSA Set Registry. The mid-1930's was a golden age for trading cards with Goudey and National Chicle leading the way. Today, these cards are at or near the top of many collector wish lists due to their fine artistry and the legendary athletic talents they portray. For the football fan, cards were hard to come by. The National Chicle set was the first dedicated to American football since the 19th century. The set features the first cards of Broncho Nagurski and Knute Rockne. In any condition, the art deco designs are crowd pleasers. This set ranks #5 on the "Current Finest" list on the PSA set registry with a 6.61 GPA.
