1984 Topps Dan Marino Rookie Cards (7) - All Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Despite his top ranking on the career charts in the two most relevant statistics for the quarterback position, passing yards and touchdown completions, the elusive Super Bowl victory will always be seen as the legendary Hall of Famer's white whale. "I want to know what it's like to play in a Super Bowl and win one," he was once quoted as saying. "My career will be great without it. But, personally, selfishly, I want to know what it feels like." Unfortunately, Marino never would experience that feeling, though his assertion that his career would be great without it is undeniably true. You just can't dismiss his close to 5,000 completions, 61,000+ yards and 420 touchdowns. His first appearance on a card came in the 1984 Topps series on card #123. Offered is a group of seven examples of this significant football card entry, all graded PSA NM-MT 8. This is a very high end assembly and there are good candidates for grade review.
