1948 Bowman and Leaf Football Collection (347). Offered is a collection of vintage football cards release by Bowman and Leaf in 1948. These cards represent a time when professional football was far behind baseball when it came to the king of the hill in the sporting publics eyes. College football was more popular than professional football but, the pros were gaining quite a bit of traction. These were the first major post-war releases and both sets includes names like Luckman, Van Buren and Baugh that have busts in Canton. A total of 20 cards have been graded by SGC.
