Signed 1985 Al Unser Detroit Diesel Driving Suit. Offered is an Al Unser signed Detroit Diesel driving suit, likely dating to his 1985 Team Penske/CART period. The blue-and-yellow Bell/Racestar Nomex III suit carries prominent Detroit Diesel branding front and back, Goodyear on the reverse, and period sponsor patches including Pennzoil, PPG, Miller High Life, Newell, Monroe, Boss, Bosch, Hertz/Penske, and others. Unser drove a Detroit Diesel-sponsored Penske entry during the 1985 season, including Indianapolis, while capturing the CART championship that year. The specific race in which this suit was worn cannot be confirmed from available evidence.
