Description

1940's Big Ed Walsh Signed Cut Signature, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10 Auto. Born Edward Augustine Walsh in 1881, "Big Ed" went on to star with Comiskey's White Sox where he won a World Series championship in 1906 as one of the "Hitless Wonders." Walsh holds the record for lowest career earned run average, 1.82. He is one of two modern (post-1901) pitchers to win forty or more games in a single season, and the last pitcher to do so. He is the last pitcher from any team to throw more than 400 innings in a single season, a feat he accomplished in 1907 and 1908. The offered signed cut signature from the Hall of Fame hurler was executed in unimprovable 10/10 black steel-tip fountain pen. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10 Auto.
