Signed 1982 Topps Cal Ripken Jr. Rookie - Orioles Future Stars #21 PSA Mint 9, PSA/DNA Auto 10. Cal Ripken Jr. transformed the modern shortstop position with his rare combination of size, power, and durability, ultimately breaking Lou Gehrig's famed consecutive-games-played record and earning a place in Cooperstown. Offered is his iconic 1982 Topps Orioles Future Stars rookie card (#21), which serves as Ripken's flagship RC and features him in the center panel, flanked by fellow Baltimore prospects Bob Bonner and Jeff Schneider. As part of Topps' Future Stars subset, this issue captures Ripken at the very outset of a Hall of Fame career, making it a cornerstone piece for any serious Ripken-focused collection. What's more is that this example has been signed by Cal in fine-point black marker. His autograph is perfectly positioned in the center of the card, just below his headshot.
