1951 Menko JCM83 Hiya Pharmaceuticals (Hand Cut) Joe DiMaggio #54507 PSA EX 5. When it comes to Japan's 1951 Menko JCM83 series, most collectors limit their search to the five baseball stars that are part of this elusive edition. The full JCM 83 set is a 10-card set issued as an uncut sheet. There are five baseball standouts and five non-sports subjects. The cards were produced in conjunction with the U.S. All-Star Tour of Japan that same year. New York Yankees perennial All-Star center fielder Joe DiMaggio is featured at the very end of his storied career. The offered card (#54507) is among the very last ones issued during his playing days, as he announced his retirement from baseball during the U.S./Japan Tour. The presented example, which represents an extremely rare find, is found in mid-grade condition. Graded PSA EX 5.
