1970 NBA Finals (Game Seven) "The Willis Reed Game" Ticket Stub, PSA Authentic - Knicks Win Title! The Willis Reed Game refers to Game Seven of the 1970 NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers. Willis Reed, the Knicks' captain and league MVP, had suffered a severe hip injury in Game Five and missed Game Six in which Wilt Chamberlain dropped 45 points in his absence. His status for Game Seven was uncertain, but in a legendary moment, Reed limped onto the court during warm-ups, inspiring his teammates and the Madison Square Garden crowd. He scored the Knicks' first two baskets before exiting the game. His emotional presence lifted the Knicks, who dominated the game and won their first NBA championship, 113-99. Frazier tallied 36 points, 19 assists and 5 steals for the Knicks, while Wilt rang up 21 points, 24 rebounds and 4 assists for the Lakers.

This ticket stub was at the Garden when the championship champagne flowed. The reverse reveals beautiful handwritten notes by the original ticket holder who documented the historic contest. Pop four with fourteen higher. Encapsulated by PSA, Authentic.
