Description

1955 Topps Hank Aaron #47 PSA NM-MT 8. Hank Aaron, Major League Baseball's longtime home run king, built a Hall of Fame career on consistent power and quiet excellence across 23 seasons. In all, he walloped 755 home runs and was the first of only two players in history who surpassed the great Babe Ruth in the career home run department. "Hammerin' Hank" won his only World Series title in 1957, and was deservedly inducted into the hallowed halls of Cooperstown in 1982.

Offered is a high-grade 1955 Topps card that showcases Aaron. Card #47 captures him in as he was embarking on just his second season in the big leagues. The card utilizes the popular horizontal layout that's unique to this set. As a follow-up to his '54 rookie issue, it remains a cornerstone card from the golden age of collecting. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.
