Description

1990-91 Mark Aguirre Game Issued Detroit Pistons Jersey from The Nate D Grate Collection. The Maverick' first great scorer, superstar, and franchise player, Mark Aguirre averaged 25.5 points per game on .498 shooting from 1983-88. The college player of the year at DePaul in 1980 and a three-time NBA All-Star with Dallas, Aguirre went on to capture two NBA titles with the Detroit Pistons later in his career.

The jersey on offer here was issued to the forward during his tenure with the Bad Boys in The Motor City. Displays screened-on identifiers, ribbed trim and Champion tagging in the tail confirming size, extra length, season and exclusivity. The jersey exhibits a moderate degree of wear but the absence of a photo match or remnants of the black armband for Detroit News sports columnist Shelby Strother prevented a game worn classification. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
