    1920's W504 Exhibit Boxing Scenes From Movies (21 Different). The ACC uses the W404 category for all movie scene Exhibit cards. As noted above, Dempsey was the first movie star boxer. He was followed in 1925 by Benny Leonard, who made his serial and only movie boxing card appearance for "Flying Fists", and in 1926 by Gene Tunney, who was convinced to go to Hollywood and make "The Fighting Marine." Several other boxers found work various films and a few ended up on uncredited cards, among them HOFer Ted "Kid" Lewis, who is on two cards in this lot, and Joe Rivers, also on two cards. Boxers featured include Benny Leonard, Bert Lytell w/Kid Lewis (uncredited. 2 different cards), Gene Tunney in "The Fighting Marine" (4 cards), Jack Dempsey (12 cards), O'Hare w/Joe Rivers (uncredited; 2 cards).
