1896-97 Whitehead & Hoag "On Time Starch" John L. Sullivan PSA EX 5. Found among the multitude of baseball players from "The Omaha Find" of 19th Century pins advertising "On Time Starch" was one boxer. Not surprising it is an all-time legend - John L. Sullivan! This extraordinary find if the first known example offering the most passionate pugilist fan the chance to a wholly unique and one-of-a-kind treasure to their collection. Sure, another could be found but it has taken 120 years for the first to be discovered. The image has faded but clearly identified "JOHN L. SULLIVAN." Graded PSA EX 5 but we find such very minor faults that the technical assessment is on the conservative side.Auction Info
