1974 Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier Ticket Stub Signed by Ali, PSA Authentic Auto 8 - Pop 1/1 with None Higher! On January 28, 1974, at New York's Madison Square Garden Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier fought for the second time in their careers. The two had fought at the same venue in 1971 with the heavyweight title at stake. In that spectacular fight Joe Muhammad Ali lost his first bout as a professional to Joe Frazier by unanimous decision in 1971. Frazier had since lost his title to George Foreman. The 1974 Ali vs. Frazier rematch was for a chance to fight Foreman for the title. The fight lacked the drama of the first meeting, but not the action. Ali emerged with a twelve round unanimous decision, although many ringside observers thought Frazier had won. This ticket stub from that historic bout exhibits is signed by Ali on the back in NM-MT 8 ink, while the ticket itself exhibits medium wear and moderate creasing. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic Auto 8.
