Description

Mid-1970's Muhammad Ali Training Worn Gloves. Massive gloves weigh more than a pound each, clearly crafted for sparring use by the sport's greatest figure. Each bears the special "Everlast" label at the wrist with "Made Expressly for Muhammad Ali" text. The gloves derive from the famous collection of renowned Ali collector Pete Morkovin, and expert Craig Hamilton dates the hefty relics to the period of the famed "Thrilla in Manila" in his included letter of examination. Substantial wear evident. LOA from Craig Hamilton. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
